Ours will be a stable govt, says Parrikar

Mapusa: Chief priest Manohar Parrikar has communicated certainty that he will run a steady government for the following five years.

"Our legislature will be in place for the following five years and there will be a general improvement of the state at a fast," Parrikar stated, while tending to the social event.

Parrikar had demonstrated his lion's share in the get together with 12 MLAs from the BJP, three from the Goa Forward Party (GFP), three from the Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) and three Independents.

Parrikar said he was knowledgeable with the issues of Siolim body electorate. "I am mindful of the issues of Siolim with respect to framework and the water issue. I guarantee everybody that inside two years, the general population of Siolim will have standard water supply for 12 hours a day as I have officially endorsed a water treatment plant in Bardez," Parrikar said. Unexpectedly, BJP's Siolim MLA Dayanand Mandrekar was the water assets serve since 2012, however lost to GFP competitor Vinod Paliencar in the 2017 races. Paliencar now holds the WRD portfolio in the Parrikar administration.
