Naxal included in murder of ex-Salwa Judum part held

Raipur: A naxal, purportedly included in the murder of a previous 'Salwa Judum' laborer on April 3, was captured in Bijapur region of Chhattisgarh on Wednesday, police said.

On April 3, the ultras opened discharge on Modiam, a previous individual from 'Salwa Judum', and assaulted him with sharp edged weapons in Loharpara town under Bhairamgarh police headquarters range of Bijapur, in which he passed on.

'Salwa Judum' was a civilian army that had been conveyed as a major aspect of hostile to rebellion operations in Chhattisgarh, before it was restricted by the Supreme Court.

Taking after the episode, security powers propelled an operation to follow the naxals.

"On getting a particular tip-off, a police group from Bhairmgarh assaulted Fuladi town today and captured Kunjam. Amid cross examination, he admitted to his inclusion in the murder.

A hatchet utilized as a part of the wrongdoing was additionally recouped from his ownership," the authority stated, including that endeavors are to follow different naxals who were included in the wrongdoing.
